The purpose of this program is to solicit
promising projects from area businesses
and industries for up to $250,000. Most
awards are typically in the $50,000
range. To qualify for CAP, the proposing
company must provide matching funds
of at least 1 to 1 for every dollar
funded through this program. The matching
funds can include cash or in-kind services.
Through an open and competitive
RFP process the NYIEQ Center selects
projects that have the best chance of
succeeding and economically benefiting
Central New York. A description of the
NYIEQ Center, ESDC Grant and CAP is
provided in Section 2 of the RFP.
